Meet the Dream
The day our founder met wolfdogs in person for the first time, they had an unexpected realization: being neurodivergent or disabled in this world can feel a whole lot like a wolfdog trying to exist in it. As they met each wolfdog and heard their stories, they couldn’t help but see the similarities.
Wolfdogs are brought into a world that is simply not made for them, with no built-in space where they naturally belong. They can’t survive in the wild, and often don’t survive in the role of the domestic pet they’re expected to play. Unless spaces are built specifically for them, they spend their lives in fight or flight, chronically dysregulated, their true magic hidden from sight.
This is often the case for disabled and neurodivergent folks too, and for anyone else who doesn’t fit the mold society has given them. There simply aren’t enough truly safe spaces where people can finally breathe and be fully supported without having to fight or ask for it.
This is the dream of Awakening Souls Sanctuary: a physical retreat space built specifically for us. A place where wolfdogs and people alike are met where they are, with celebration instead of expectation. Where true magic no longer has to hide.

Meet the Soul-Lings
Some dreams get built on hustle. This one is being built on joy. Every piece of it is made to carry the same cozy, creative, caring spirit as our future sanctuary. It all begins here, with a soft digital haven celebrating human art and imagination: Your Souls Sanctuary.
Your Souls Sanctuary is a world of digital adoptables called Soul-Lings: little spirit creatures born from the energy of creativity. You can adopt them through mystery eggs, available only during the first 7 days of each month. The species stays a surprise until the Nursery closes, and every egg hatches a different variation, so grab a few! Each one directly supports that month’s artist and helps build our real-life sanctuary.
Missed the drop? Roamers are exclusive adult Soul-Lings who appear once a month’s species has fully evolved, and they stay available year-round. They also feature a choose-your-price adoption, which is a wonderful way to give extra support to the artists and the sanctuary.

Exploring Soft Ways Forward
Somewhere along the way, we were taught that a life is measured by what it produces. We learn to prioritize work, we count down to the day we can finally rest, and joy is something we occasionally find time for. Now even the work that once lit people up, like art, is being handed to machines.
When a world is built around productivity, the people who do things differently are the first to be left out. But what if the system was built around people and the things that make them happy instead? What if feeling inspired and valued came first, and productivity grew naturally out of that?
Those are the questions we’d like to explore, so we’re building our own way: funded by human art, shaped by the people it’s meant to serve, and growing at a pace that honors our bodies and energy. Every artist we pay, and one day, every job we create at our physical sanctuary, is a step toward a world where work sustains life instead of burning it out, and human creativity is cherished instead of replaced.

Roadmap
Big dreams take time, land, and sustainable groundwork. While timeline details will naturally shift as our community grows, here is how we are bringing Awakening Souls Sanctuary to life:
Phase 1: Adoptables
This is where we are now! Monthly Soul-Ling drops pay our artists fairly and start funding the sanctuary.
Phase 2: Community Hub
A welcoming place to gather online, with free resources and events, so that money and distance are never barriers to support.
Phase 3: Physical Sanctuary
The place all of this is leading to: forever homes for rescued wolfdogs and a free, accessible retreat for our community.
Awakening Souls Sanctuary is currently mostly being built by one neurodivergent, chronically ill human doing their absolute best. This website will grow as our sanctuary does, adding more information at a pace that honors their energy and health.
