Awakening Souls Sanctuary LLC runs Awakening Souls Sanctuary and its Your Souls Sanctuary adoptables experience here at awakeningsoulssanctuary.com (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, adopting a Soul-Ling, or joining in anything on this site, you agree to these terms. As we add new things, like our community hub, we’ll update these terms. Your account
You need an account to adopt Soul-Lings and see your collection. You must give us accurate information and keep your password private. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and if you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to make purchases. You’re responsible for everything that happens in your account, including purchases made with it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Your Souls Sanctuary
Your Souls Sanctuary is a digital adoptables experience. Soul-Lings are digital creatures created by independent human artists, and adopting one adds it to your collection on this site. Soul-Ling adoptions are digital, so nothing is shipped.
Soul-Ling eggs and Egg Week
Soul-Ling eggs are available for the first 7 days of each month. When the Nursery closes, we count the eggs sold, and our system assigns every variation by set percentages. Because the assignment is random, you can’t choose which variation you receive.
Roamers
Roamers are adult Soul-Lings who appear once a month’s species has fully evolved. They’re choose-your-price, with a minimum of $6. You are responsible for the price you enter, so double-check the amount before you add a Roamer to your cart. If you enter the wrong amount by mistake, see our Refund Policy.
Payments and refunds
Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by our payment providers. Our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and is part of these terms.
Not a donation
Adopting a Soul-Ling is a purchase, not a donation. Purchases are not tax-deductible, and Awakening Souls Sanctuary LLC is not a nonprofit organization. Adopting a Soul-Ling doesn’t give you any ownership or say in the business or in the physical sanctuary.
The artwork
Every Soul-Ling was created by an independent artist, who keeps the copyright and the credit for their work. Awakening Souls Sanctuary LLC holds the exclusive license to use, sell, and merchandise these designs, as set out in our agreements with the artists.
Adopting a Soul-Ling doesn’t give you ownership of the artwork, or the right to use it beyond what’s described here. You may enjoy your Soul-Lings in your collection and share them online using the embed codes on their profiles or by showing images of them.
You may not claim the artwork as your own, edit it, remove the artist’s credit, or sell it. You may not use it to make anything else, including but not limited to merchandise, prints, games, or digital products. You may not use it to train AI systems or to create AI-generated work.
Our artists
We love our artists, and we encourage you to follow them and support their work. If you choose to contact, hire, or work with an artist outside of this site, that’s a relationship between you and them. We aren’t a party to it and aren’t responsible for it. Please be kind and respectful to our artists. We may close the account of anyone who harasses or mistreats them.
Our mission and plans
The physical sanctuary is what we’re working toward, and we’ll always be honest about our goals and our progress. We can’t promise when we’ll get there or exactly how. We may change our plans or priorities as we learn, and we’ll let you know about important changes on this website, on social media, or by email.
Where your money goes
The money from adoptions, including eggs and Roamers, is divided between the artist and Awakening Souls Sanctuary LLC, according to our agreement with each artist. No single adoption goes entirely to either. Our share helps cover the costs of running the site and goes toward building our physical sanctuary.
Being kind
This is meant to be a gentle, welcoming place. You may not harass others, misuse the site, or try to break it. If you break these terms, including by harassing or mistreating our artists or other members, we may warn you, suspend your account, or close it. We often try to talk things through first, but we aren’t required to. If we close your account for breaking these terms, you won’t receive a refund, and you’ll lose access to your collection.
Things can change
We’re a small team building this as we go. We may update or end parts of the site, the Soul-Lings, or these terms, and we’ll post the new date below. We do our best to keep the site running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limits on our responsibility
Soul-Lings are digital items with no cash value. To the extent allowed by law, our responsibility to you for any problem with the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase involved.
Which laws apply
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
